What is CHEERIOS® Childline Breakfast Together Week?

CHEERIOS® Childline Breakfast Together Week is a fundraising event which last year saw hundreds of people hold a breakfast and raise vital funds for Childline. Together with friends, families and colleagues last year we raised €225,000 making a real difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in Ireland.

Who should I invite to my breakfast?

You can invite anyone to your breakfast from friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues.

Where can I host my breakfast?

You can host your breakfast anywhere, in your school, crèche, home or workplace.

Is it ok if I don’t host my breakfast during CHEERIOS® Childline Breakfast Together Week?

Yes of course, you can host a breakfast before or after CHEERIOS® Childline Breakfast Together Week.

How much should people donate?

You can donate any amount of money, it is up to the individual, no amount is too big or too little. Click here to find out the difference your money could make to Childline.

What if I only raise a small amount of money?

Remember, no matter how big or small your breakfast, it will make a real difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in Ireland.

Do I get free product for hosting a breakfast?

All crèches and schools will receive CHEERIOS® product if they so wish, if they register before 21st September 2011. Everyone will receive coupons in their breakfast fundraising pack for money off breakfast products and don't forget to use the sponsorship request letter available to download here if you are approaching local businesses for product.

What should I serve at my breakfast?

You can serve anything from cereal to hot food, it’s up to you! Why not check out the recipe section for some tasty ideas to serve at your breakfast.

Where does all the money raised from the breakfasts go to?

All funds raised goes to towards helping Childline to answer every child’s call. For more info click here.

If I can’t hold a breakfast, can I still make a donation?

Yes you can still donate money, by clicking on the donate button on the homepage.

How do I get my Breakfast Registration Pack?

Simply register all of your details in the Registration Section and a pack will be sent out to you.
