CHEERIOS® Recipes Nutty Eton Mess

400 g/14 oz ripe strawberries
90 g/31⁄4 oz Cheerios
450 ml/16 fl oz Greek-style yogurt, chilled
3 tbsp chopped mixed nuts or almonds
 
1. Hull and slice the strawberries and put in a bowl with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Set aside, stirring once, for up to half an hour, allowing the sugar to dissolve.
2. Meanwhile, lightly crush the Cheerios.
3. Stir the yogurt, cereal and nuts into the strawberries to combine lightly, then spoon the mixture into 4 serving dishes or glasses.

Tips: If you prefer a lighter texture, you can use natural bioyogurt. You can substitute raspberries for some of the strawberries and crushed meringue for the nuts, in which case you may not need the sugar.
